We're more than just a bike club, we're a movement. And bikes are the vehicle towards that movement.
As some might say, we're not just bikes.
Our vision for the City of St. Louis is one grounded in equity and community. It's not just about bike lanes or bus lanes, but an equitable investment of transportation infrastructure and the development that surrounds it.
As a student organization, we hope to achieve our goals:
By putting students on bikes and public transit, students experience the city instilling a care of it beyond campus, while simultaneously better understanding its infrastructure shortcomings for non-car users
Through community building via riding bikes, community creates a collation of people to advocate for change
As a student group, we lead student activism that has historically played central roles in changemaking. By utilizing our voice as students, we lead the voice for change to our university administrators and local officials. We continue the political legacy of Jane Jacobs and the highway revolts by advocating for positive incremental change.
We are physically, civically, politically, & environmentally, on the move.
