Our mission is to make biking as accessible as possible for everyone. Whether for pleasure or for purpose, every trip on a bike is one less car on the road or one more enjoyable time.
We have 10 bikes at a wide variety of sizes, all equped baskets for your convience. These bikes are refurbished salvages, fully rebuilt and maintianed with the help of Last Stop Bike Shop. Find them in the Laclede Garage racks!
Helmets and bike lights are also availible for checkout at the Laclede entrance desk of Simon Rec.
We aim to make the bikeshare as accessible and affordable for students as possible. Please take care of our bikes to keep dues low. Bikes are always free for club-organized rides!
To check out a bike, it's as easy as scanning the qr code attached to it. See below to learn how to use it!
How it works:
First Time? Your first borrow is free!
Go to bikeshare.sluonthemove.org or scan the QR code on the bike to check it out!
Pick a specific bike, and if you want a helmet or light, they are located at the Laclede Entrance (South Entrance) of Simon Rec. If you have any questions just ask in the Bikeshare Groupme!
When returning the bike, ensure the lock goes through the Rack, Frame, and Front Tire! Make sure to scan the QR code on your bike and fill out the form indicating you returned it! If you got a helmet, leave it on the desk, and you're good to go!
Paid your dues?
After your first borrow, the dues for unlimited access are $10/semester, or $15 for the entire academic year!
Dues can be paid to our current treasurer via Venmo, or with cash in the dropbox.
Borrowing period is 24 hours. If you plan to use it longer than then, let us know when you plan to have it back by messaging in the Bikeshare Groupme before the 24 hours is up.
This is a Student-Run program. Please be respectful of the equipment and other student's time. If you would like to volunteer, please reach out!

All non SLU students that wish to use the bike share must have one checked out on behalf of a dues-paying SLU student
After gaining startup funding grants from SGA, we remain to be funded entirely by student contributions. It is more important than ever to pay your dues to support the program. Your dues cover the cost of upkeep, but not the cost of improvement. Donations in both the monetary and physical form are accepted!
Yes! We are always looking to expand the program and accept any bike or equipment donations.
Reach out to us! We are always looking for people to learn bike maintenance and help operate the program! This is a super awesome and chill way to get service hours!
